Fuel filter Lada Grants and its replacement

On all domestic cars with injection engines, a fuel filter is installed in a metal case, which is installed at the rear of the car. Using the example of Lada Grants, we will give a detailed guide to replacing it. It should be noted right away that it must be changed every 30 km, although with the current quality of gasoline, it is better to do this a little more often.

So, there is a fuel filter near the gas tank, more specifically, on the right side of the rear wheel under the bottom.

As you can see in the photo above, the filter is attached to a plastic clip and the fittings are connected to it on both sides with latches. So, in order to disconnect it, you need to put your hand on the retainer bracket, and at this time pull the hose to the side. And after the fittings are removed, pull the filter down with a little effort, overcoming the clamping obstacle:

Now we take a new filter, it costs about 150 rubles in spare parts stores, and we replace it by inserting the fittings until it clicks. This will indicate that the hoses have sat down thoroughly and everything is done correctly.

Do not forget to constantly monitor the power supply system of your Grants and change the filter element in time so that exceptionally clean fuel flows into the injector!
