There are several types of fuel hoses:

• Main rubber hose : This is by far the cheapest fuel hose you will find. But it lacks a protective layer, which makes it much more fragile.
• Stainless Steel Braided Rubber Hose : This is the same principle as we just described for you, but with a stainless steel braid that covers the entire hose. However, this stainless steel braid is rarely a guarantee of strength.
• Rubber hose and fiber reinforcement : This is a hose with a good price / performance ratio. In most cases, it is quite durable and not worth the big investment.
• Rubber hose reinforced with stainless steel frame and braid. : it is very durable and therefore used most often on sports cars.
• Rubber hose reinforced with stainless steel frame and fiber braid. : It has the same characteristics as the stainless steel braided hose, but the fiber is mainly used for aesthetic constraints.
