Brake pads ATE for VAZ

Not so long ago, I wrote on a blog about a problem with the brake pads. Last time, we came across defective ones, most likely or simply of low quality, and were worn out literally in 10 km, and this is very little for the front pads. After the terrible creaks from the front of the car, I decided to remove the wheels and see what was the matter. It turns out that the pads are worn out, especially from the inside, both on the right and on the left wheel.

Now it was necessary to change to better ones. After reading the reviews of many motorists, I settled on ATE brake pads, which are installed from the factory even on VOLVO. If they are good for Volvo, then I think they will be even better for VAZ. The price, of course, is 550 rubles - obviously not the cheapest, I would even say one of the most expensive, but I hope that they are worth it.

As a result, after installing the ATE pads on the VAZ Kalina, the brakes became just perfect, I don’t even want to compare with the factory ones. No extraneous sound is heard when you press the brake pedal, they do not whistle, do not creak, but the car slows down just instantly, it feels like you are not driving a VAZ car. After a long trip of 300 km one way and several hundred kilometers wound around the city, I decided to look at the brake discs, as they were all eaten away from the old pads by terrible moats. Surprisingly, now they were perfectly even, shiny, and what is most pleasant - there were no traces of dust on either the rims or the brakes - I checked it with my finger.

So ATE clearly deserves attention so that car owners pay attention to it, at least I was very pleased. If these pads leave the due date with the same quality, then the next ones, both rear and front, will definitely be ATE firms, I certainly have no doubt about that.
