The 2022 Corolla features the latest Toyota Smart Connect infotainment system, with significantly enhanced internet services and greater functionality and ease of use. The system will be available as standard on GR Sport and Executive versions, and as a package on Comfort versions.
The new system has a more powerful processor control unit that runs 2,4 times faster than current media. Thanks to this, it responds faster to user commands. It is controlled by an 8-inch HD touchscreen that gives you immediate access to many intelligent internet services, including cloud-based navigation with constantly updated traffic information.
The 2022 Corolla has native Wi-Fi access via DCM, so you don't have to pair the infotainment system with the driver's phone to be able to use all the online features and information. There is no additional cost to the user for using DCM and for data transfer. The Toyota Smart Connect system will be constantly updated wirelessly via the Internet.
Vehicle usability is enhanced with a new intelligent voice assistant that recognizes natural voice commands for media and navigation, as well as other functions such as opening and closing windows.

The integration of the multimedia system with the phone is carried out wirelessly via Apple CarPlay® and wired via Android Auto™. Customers can also opt for the extensive Toyota Smart Connect Pro system with advanced Connected navigation with a free 4-year subscription included in the price of the vehicle. Cloud navigation displays incl. information about parking or traffic events, responds to voice commands and is updated remotely via the Internet.
In 2022, the Corolla body color scheme will be expanded with Platinum White Pearl and Shimmering Silver. Both will also be available with a two-tone black roof composition in the GR Sport version - the first for all body styles and the second for the Corolla sedan. The body of the sedan also received new 10-inch polished 17-spoke alloy wheels. They are available for the Executive and Comfort versions with the Style Pack.
Pre-sales of the 2022 Corolla began in November of this year, with the first copies delivered to customers at the end of January next year.
