Toyota has canceled the presentation of the crossover indefinitely.

The public became aware of the decision made by the Toyota automaker - to postpone the presentation of a new, yet unnamed crossover for an indefinite period, weeks or months.

The show of the new, ultra-modern European crossover was planned to be held on March 3, 2020 at an exhibition in Geneva. Unfortunately, due to the raging coronavirus, the car show was canceled. But Toyota is definitely 100% confident in the furor of the new crossover model. By the way, they were preparing an interesting presentation of this car at the Geneva exhibition. According to the automaker, the motorists present should have been breathtaking.

Toyota has been preparing for the release of the crossover for a long time. For example, shortly before the exhibition, photographs of the new car were published. A stylized silhouette of the new crossover was shown at a press conference in Amsterdam in mid-January, and in February a teaser was shown for the rear of the car with the "Hybrid" and "AWD" labels. The carmaker is proud of its new product, calling it an alliance of "small car experience and an enviable SUV legacy."

Features of the new car.

It became known that the unnamed car was based on the TNGA-B platform, which is already used in the new Toyota Yaris. The crossover will be taller, wider and longer than the Yaris. It will also have a longer wheelbase and suspension designed specifically for off-road, as well as a hybrid 1,5-liter engine.

According to the magazine Automotive News, Toyota executives plan to launch mass production of a new miracle car in 2021 in France.
