Toyota Proas Verso. New buildings for people with disabilities
Toyota is introducing a new Mobility Base body for the PROACE Verso that expands the company's offering for people with disabilities. This option was created taking into account the procurement of public institutions.
Toyota's basic form of support for people with disabilities is a solution that allows people with disabilities to drive independently. This is the Carospeed system, which allows you to accelerate and brake using a lever located between the steering wheel and the automatic transmission lever. This modification is available free of charge for selected Toyota passenger models of various segments - from AYGO to Camry. The system does not interfere with the structure of the car, and after dismantling it, the car returns to the factory state.
This PLN 6 modification is offered free of charge on some models - all you need to present is a medical certificate of disability.
Toyota's offering also includes specialized Mobility bodies for the PROACE Verso and PROACE CITY Verso models, which adapt vehicles to carry people in wheelchairs.
For the PROACE Verso, Toyota has prepared three body styles and additional equipment. Mobility bodies are designed for the 4,9m Medium variant and the 5,3m Long variant.
In the cabin, an integrated, certified set is installed interchangeably with the third row of seats to ensure the safety of passengers while driving. The Mobility body for the PROACE Verso includes wheelchair attachments, i.e. floor planks, wheelchair harnesses and 3-point wheelchair harnesses. The car is also marked in accordance with the rules of the road. The buildings are available in a variant with ramps, which currently costs PLN 8 for the promotion, and in a variant with an elevator for PLN 400.
Mobility can be supplemented with additional options. These include a retractable step, handrails, sill markings, a second bogie mount kit and a drive-through platform available on the long body version of the PROACE Verso.

New to Toyota's offering is the Mobility Base Body, which meets government agency requirements and is compliant with regulations for the transportation of people with disabilities. This may be the subject of co-financing for vehicles purchased by organizational units through tenders or government procedures for vehicles adapted to carry people in wheelchairs.
The PROACE Verso with the Mobility Base body gets in-car seat belt anchors as well as the necessary vehicle markings, i.e. appropriate emblems on the hood and rear doors, and additional signs on the disabled D-pillars.
An alternative to the PROACE Verso midsize van is the compact PROACE CITY Verso, which can also be ordered in a wheelchair accessible version. Mobility body is available for PROACE CITY Verso in Long version, 4,7 m long, in Business or Family configuration.
Modifications to this model include lowering the floor of the rear of the car, rebuilding the rear bumper so that its middle part rises with the tailgate, and an attachment system that includes 4-point harnesses to attach the stroller to the car and 3-point harnesses. belts for the person sitting on it. The kit also includes LED interior lighting and an aluminum folding ramp with folding drives that can easily lead a person in a wheelchair into the car. The price of this modification is PLN 38.
All bodies and modifications from the Toyota offer, designed for people with disabilities, are homologated. This makes it easier to register the vehicle and means that the price of the body will be added to the price of the car on one invoice and it can be covered by all forms of car financing offered by Toyota. The vehicle and body warranty is 3 years or XNUMX million kilometers.
