Toyota Supra - double the power under the hood
Toyota moved the Supra from the heavy and ugly cruiser class to the affordable, elegantly designed and compact Supra, capable of speeds of up to 250 km / h thanks to its 326 hp engine.

At first glance, the Supra has a very extroverted silhouette. When you get behind the wheel and press the gas pedal to the floor, be ready for the thrill. Already in first gear, a whistle under the hood indicates that the first turbocharger is starting to rotate. At 4000 l / min, both turbochargers force air into the 2997 cc Supra engine. The engine is tuned for maximum power at medium to high revs. As a result of the blockade, the car only accelerates to a speed of 3 km / h; without it, the speedometer would easily dial 250.
Twin turbocharger
The first smaller compressor increases capacity at low engine speeds, and then the larger compressor starts at higher speeds. Both are equipped with intercoolers.
Differential Torsen
The Torsen limited-slip differential is a mechanical device that uses a worm gear (rather than a hydraulic or viscous clutch) to distribute torque between the rear axle wheels.
6-speed gearbox
Like the Porsche 968, the Supra has a reliable Getrag 6-speed gearbox. However, the turbo engine is not a weak point, so you don't have to change gears constantly to get performance out of it.
Active front spoiler
If the Supra is driven for more than 5 seconds at a speed in excess of 90 km / h, the front spoiler automatically extends to increase the vehicle's downforce.
ABS with acceleration sensor
The Supry anti-lock braking system is equipped with an acceleration sensor to avoid skidding when braking around corners.

Distribution: 4 valves per cylinder, controlled by 2 overhead camshafts.

Supply system: electronic fuel injection with two sequential turbochargers. Maximum power: 326 hp at 5600 rpm.

ELEMENT CHARACTERISTICS
The Supra is stable at high speeds thanks to its large wing. One of the sequential turbochargers runs at low rpm to increase the lower torque, the other, at 4000 rpm, adds power at maximum engine rpm.
