TRACKS

TRACS is a traction control system integrated into Volvo's all-wheel drive system. When one of the front or rear wheels begins to spin, the system transfers power to the wheel that has the traction. In this way, the best starting and running characteristics are achieved regardless of the road surface condition. The distribution of driving force between the two wheels of the axle is controlled by the electronic traction control system TRACS.

This all-wheel drive control system is considered an excellent active safety system.
