Abro transmission additive - description, specifications, reviews
For the transmission of a passenger car, it is recommended to use the entire tube. Application on trucks is regulated by other standards - the amount of additive must correspond to 10% of the volume of gear oil.
If you have problems shifting gears in a manual transmission, many car mechanics suggest trying ABRO transmission additive as an alternative to overhaul. Consider the features of the supplement.
ABRO additive in transmission oil
The tool is intended for use in manual transmissions, differentials with increased load. It slows down the wear of parts subjected to friction and prevents the appearance of metal defects in the contact area.
Technical specifications
The 200 ml tube contains a gel-like composition. The additive has the following characteristics:
- reduces the temperature in the zone of contact of rubbing elements;
- lubricates gearbox components and cleans them of small metal chips;
- used in conjunction with synthetics and mineral oil;
- reduces transmission noise and facilitates shifting from one gear to another.
Instructions for use
For the transmission of a passenger car, it is recommended to use the entire tube. Application on trucks is regulated by other standards - the amount of additive must correspond to 10% of the volume of gear oil.
The additive is poured into the lubricating fluid at the next replacement, or when signs of breakdown appear. It is forbidden to use in automatic transmissions.
Reviews
Andrei: “I bought an ABRO additive after I had difficulty shifting gears on the advice of a familiar master. Drained the old oil and added a tube of new oil. I immediately noted the facilitated inclusion of first and reverse gears. Other than that, I didn't notice any other improvements.
Konstantin: “I work in a car service. Customers often come complaining about poor transmission performance. If the defect is minor, I recommend trying ABRO additive as a cheap alternative to repair. So far, I haven't received any bad reviews.
