- Cut the necessary holes on the new part, give the final shape with a knife, remove the excess.
- Sand the craft with sandpaper.
- As soon as the body kit is completely dry, putty, dry and sandpaper.
Fiberglass can be used to give the part strength. It is also suitable for foam elements. Fiberglass overlay is done like this:
- Stick foil on the received part.
- Coat the surface with epoxy.
- Apply a layer of fiberglass.
- Carefully smooth out the applied material with a plastic or rubber scraper. At the same time, there should be no wrinkles, irregularities or air bubbles on the surface.
- Thus, apply several layers of fiberglass pre-prepared in size.
- Remove excess foam, sand and putty the element.
After that, if desired, prime, paint or apply a film or other decorative material.

- fiberglass, glass mat and fiberglass (all these materials will be needed immediately);

- paraffin;
- knife and scissors;

- Allow to dry.
- Apply a layer of fiberglass. Smooth it out so that there are no wrinkles or bubbles.
- After drying, apply another layer of material. To increase the rigidity of the structure, it is recommended to make 4-5 layers or more of fiberglass.
- When the element dries, treat the joints with epoxy and coat the last layer of material with it.
- Separate the part from the matrix, sand and putty.
Each layer of fiberglass will take at least two hours to dry. Sometimes this process takes longer. After drying, the resulting body kit can be primed and painted or covered with a carbon film.
