Seals must not freeze

A gasket is an element that gradually loses its properties, including elasticity, under the influence of frost. Over time, the rubber begins to crack and crumble, which in turn reduces the tightness of the cabin. In order to prevent this and increase the service life of the seals, and therefore not risk their premature replacement, you should take care of the rubber parts of the car in advance.

Silicone-based products can be a solution, which can be used to coat the seals, preventing them from absorbing water and freezing to the door. Moreover, such preparations preserve all rubber seals and protect their delicate elements from aging, hardening and cracking.

Using such measures is child's play. As a rule, they come in the form of a spray, which is applied to the pads in an even layer directly from the container or with a sponge. If it's silicone paste, apply it with a cloth. Regardless of the form in which this product is used, fillings should be as clean and dry as possible before application.

Thus, you must maintain seals every 2-3 weeks.
