Uproc, Upstreet, Gotour: New Flyer Electric Bikes for 2019

Wanting to solidify its presence in France, the Swiss brand Flyer has just unveiled its highlights for 2019.
With over two decades of experience in the electric bike market, Flyer is a pioneer today. The Swiss brand, presented from 22 to 24 July during the Pro Days in Paris, wants to expand its activities in France with a completely revamped 2019 product range.
Off-road with the Uproc range
Due to its Swiss origins, Flyer couldn't miss the electric mountain bike segment. Designed specifically for the Alps, the new Uproc range is presented in three models, which will go on sale in spring 2019.
The fully suspended Uproc 6 has a 500Wh Bosch PowerTube battery built into the frame. This powers the Bosch Performance CX engine, driven by the German supplier's Nyon system. The Flyer Uproc 160 with 27.5mm travel and 6-inch tires is the pinnacle of the Flyer E-MTB offering, with an advertised retail price of € 4299.
Using the same base and offered at the same price, the Uproc 3 is distinguished by its 140 mm travel, while the Uproc 1 without full suspension is more available with a starting price of € 3.299.

For the city, the new Flyer offer is based on three series, each equipped with a Bosch system.
The Gotour series, considered the “entry-level” of the Swiss brand, is represented by two models. Gotour 6 with a 500 Wh battery built into the frame and Gotour 2 with a battery housed under the trunk. In terms of pricing, consider € 3299 and € 2999, respectively, which are slated to launch next spring.
In the coming months, the new Flyer Upstreet4 and TX are expected to be one of the first e-bikes to feature Bosch's new ABS e-bike system. Equipped with full suspension, the TX will be available from autumn 2018 and will retail from € 4299, with the Upstreet 4 arriving in spring 2019. Available in three frame shapes (male, trapezoidal and low), the Upstreet 4 will be available starting at 3799 euros. ... It will be integrated with the Bosch Performance CX engine and can house a second extra battery that doubles its autonomy.
Upstreet 1: new compact model
Compact dimensions and original design ... The Upstreet 1 is not foldable, but has the same dimensions and is suitable for any user. Mounted on 20-inch wheels, it is powered by a Bosch Active Line Plus motor and a 500 Wh battery.
The Upstreet 2019 Flyer is also expected to be available starting at € 1 including taxes in the spring of 3399.
Network expansion in France
In addition to the emergence of these new models, the Swiss manufacturer also indicates that it wants to conquer the French market by creating a network of specialized Flyer dealers.
