Stromer brings Omni technology to all of its e-bikes in 2017

Having officially unveiled its 2017 lineup, Swiss manufacturer Stromer has just announced that its Omni technology will now be extended to all of its models.

Omni technology already offered on the Stromer ST2, its top model, will be extended to the ST1.

“We want to use our technology across our entire range and strengthen our position as a pioneer in the cycling industry.” the Swiss manufacturer said in a statement.

Thus, the new version of ST1, called ST1 X, receives Omni technology, characterized by a set of related functions. Specifically, the user can connect their Apple or Android phone to their electric bike to optimize performance settings as well as activate GPS remote positioning.

On the technical side, the Stromer ST1 X is equipped with a Cyro electric motor developed by Stromer and integrated into the rear wheel. With 500 W of power, it offers 35 Nm of torque and can reach speeds of up to 45 km / h. As for the battery, the base configuration uses a 618 Wh battery, providing a range of up to 120 kilometers. And for those who want to go further, an 814 Wh battery is available as an option, which extends the range to 150 kilometers.

The Stromer ST1 X should be available in the coming weeks. Sale price: from 4990 €.
