V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid): An electric vehicle that pays drivers

V2G or " Vehicle-to-network This is a new concept aimed at rewarding electric vehicle users.

Yes, you read that right: we pay you.

The principle is simple : Most cars are parked most of the time. By connecting to global power distribution and production network, the parked car could supply surplus electricity to the global power grid, thereby rewarding its owner.

One Toyota Scion XB was developed on this principle at the University of Delaware and was presented last Thursday at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (American Association for the Advancement of Science) in San Diego.
