Valeo - a breakthrough in technological solutions

Valeo offers the latest technology solutions in the aftermarket. The company founded by Eugene Buisson can be proud of its high quality products.

Brand History

Valeo, once known as the Société Anonyme Française du Ferodo, was born in Saint-Ouen near Paris in 1923 at the initiative of a certain Eugene Buisson. It was then that he opened a plant for the production of brake pads and clutch linings under an English license.

In 1962, the company acquired SOFICA, a heating and air-conditioning company, whereby it acquired a new line of business: thermal systems in automobiles. The company was immediately restructured to reflect its continued expansion, especially after lighting and abrasive systems were added to its specification.

In the XNUMXs, the company has grown in Europe, in particular in close cooperation with French and Italian clients. At that time, after the Second World War, the dynamically growing company began to conquer new markets, buying out a number of other companies and opening branches in Spain and Italy.

In 1974, the Group opened a heating systems business in São Paulo, Brazil.

End of 80's

In the 80s, the company received a new name, under which it united all production divisions: Valeo, which means “I am healthy” in Latin. The main goal defined in the company's philosophy is to maintain the highest quality of products to meet the needs of customers - a measure of the effectiveness of this strategy can be the fact that Valeo components have been chosen for the first installation in cars of many European manufacturers. .

In early 2000, Valeo launched new projects in order to continually offer innovative solutions to its customers. The group has become a world leader in the manufacture of parking assistance systems using ultrasonic sensors.

In 2004, the Group opened the first lighting R&D center in China. Valeo was the first to introduce Stop-Start technology to the market.

In 2005 Valeo acquired Johnson Controls' engine electronics business, improving the efficiency of drive systems. This was aimed at creating cleaner, more efficient and more fuel efficient vehicles.

Currently, a wide range of products of this brand is popular in the independent aftermarket. The Valeo group currently has 125 manufacturing plants, including 5 in Poland, and its annual revenues exceed 9 billion euros. Thanks to the extremely favorable price-quality ratio and innovative technological solutions, parts, and, above all, Valeo wipers, enjoy unremitting popularity. The channels that distribute the cleaning fluid along the entire length of the blade allow for more thorough cleaning of the glass, and the universal mounting adapter included in each kit makes it easy to replace the wipers.

Why is it worth reaching for the wipers?

Valeo offers the latest technological solutions in the aftermarket. The most important advantages of Valeo:

  • Flat-Blade, a new generation of flat wipers adapted at the factory to the windshield of this car. BBI wipers: rear wipers specially designed for extreme climatic conditions.
  • Autoclic system: pre-wired adapter for quick and easy installation.
  • A wear indicator showing how worn out the wiper is and when it needs to be replaced.
