Are you bored with the Earth? We invite you to Mars

The Dutch organization Mars One is preparing to establish a colony on Mars in 2023. Recruitment of volunteers for the move will begin soon. Please note that this will be a one-way trip only!

This offer is for almost everyone. You don't have to be a military man, a pilot, or have a college degree to get caught. However, you need to be smart, prudent, mentally stable and in good shape.

Chosen from the crowd, we believe they will spend the next eight years preparing to move. They will acquire all the necessary skills in various fields: from medicine, through metal technology, to hydrogeology. Their every day, almost every step they take will be monitored and reported to the whole world. Four lucky (or maybe unlucky...) will go on the first flight. They will never again set foot on the old Earth.

The medical director of the project, former NASA employee Norbert Kraft, announced that they are looking for people whose main features will be: adaptive abilities, the ability to cooperate and a stable psyche. They don't care about boldness, bravado, or quick reactions.

After landing on the red planet, the volunteers will not be completely alone. Eight robotic cargo missions, scheduled to be sent to Mars in 2016-202, will create building complexes there where people can live and work.

Recruitment will begin in the first half of this year. Anyone over the age of 18 can apply. Mature people are not discriminated against, the upper age bar is not set. Regardless of age, gender, social status or wealth, the main criteria must be met: good spirits, determination, the ability to adapt to the strangest conditions, curiosity, faith in people and people, the ability to self-reflection, a sense of humor and love for creativity. True, this is a rather unusual, but very beautiful set?

The method of financing the entire project is also expected to be unusual. While there are traditional sponsors such as Dejan SEO, the biggest money Mars One is going to make is from 8 years of television broadcasts of the volunteer training process, from the first auditions to the launch of a mission to Mars. It was even mentioned that the audience will have influence on the choice of project participants.
