Verva Street Racing in the center of Warsaw

A street track, the fastest cars in the world, the roar of engines with a capacity of up to several hundred horsepower, duels between Polish and foreign racers, the most prestigious motorsport series… All this on June 18 in the center of Warsaw! The second edition of Verva Street Racing is coming, i.e. the only street race organized on such a scale in Poland!

 This Saturday, the neighborhood of Theater Square will become the Polish center of motorsport. The street track, built along Senatorska, Wierzbow and Foch streets, will be tested by drivers and cars from several major racing series, including the DTM, Formula 3, Le Mans Series and the Porsche Super Cup. Polish racers will compete for the best time with their foreign colleagues, including in an interdisciplinary form, i.e. opposing at the start of the machines representing different series. The program of the event, like last year's debut, is not limited to classic "racing cars". The track will also feature cross-country and drift racing stars, luxurious and intimidatingly fast road cars, motorcycle stunts and, for the first time at Verva Street Racing, a freestyle motocross show!

This year we have changed not only the length of the route. We also worked on improving the script and program of the event so that the audience could interact as often as possible with cars that are rarely seen live in Poland. The route was shortened, leaving at the same time in the very center of Warsaw - in the Theater Square area. explains Leszek Kurnicki, Marketing Executive at PKN Orlen.

Entrance to the event is free. Tickets are valid only for the pit party, which takes place in the paddock (car park), which, due to the large interest will last longer than last year. This is an opportunity to meet "face to face" with sports cars, motorcycles, service trucks, as well as get an autograph from famous drivers. In addition, ticket buyers have a guaranteed seat in the stands located on the most attractive sections of the street circuit.

Tickets with the right to enter the Pit Party and the stands will be available for PLN 69,00 in the online store www.eventim.pl and at some PKN Orlen stations.

Verva Street Racing will present Verva's new fuel formula and test its properties in front of the public.

Verva Street Racing debuted in August 2010 on a track built around Piłsudski Square and Theater Square. During the day, 75 spectators watched more than 60 racing and rally cars, as well as more than a dozen motorcycles. In the race for the best time, spectators could see the famous Brazilian rider of the prestigious WTCC series Augusto Farfus and the French star of the X-raid team Guerlain Chichery. The event was a huge logistical and organizational challenge - the area turned into a real racing town with multimedia infrastructure, sound system, track safety system and stands for several thousand people.

Verva racing team

The first Polish racing stable to take part in the prestigious Porsche Supercup competition, which is an integral part of all European Formula 1 weekends.

Before the upcoming season Verva Racing Team aims to compete for prizes in both individual and team standings. Help in this should be a contract with the new racer Stefan Rosina. Kuba Germazyak will continue to play as part of the team.

Team Orlen

Over 10 years experience in cross country rally racing around the world. The team's biggest successes are Krzysztof Holowczyc's two-time fifth place in the Dakar Rally in the car category (Ed. 5 and 2009) and the very high 2011 place of Przygonski's Kuba in the motorcycle standings at the end of the Dakar in '8. Team Orlen drivers Jacek Czahor and Marek Dąbrowski also won world titles in the off-road rally category.

Renault Truck Racing Team / MKR Technology

Both companies make up the most experienced team in the truck racing series. Renault offers, among other things, the DXi13 Racing engines share its technology and are responsible for the unique, slightly futuristic design of the trucks, which has been completely redesigned by Halle Du Design. The team also operates the Renault Trucks research center in Lyon. The team is led by Mario Kress, one of the top experts in the discipline with nearly 21 years of truck racing experience.
