VMoto wants to tackle premium electric motorcycles

Creator of Super Soco, the Australian group VMoto will launch a new brand dedicated to premium electric motorcycles.

Pioneer of the electric motorcycle with its Super Soco brand, the VMoto group seeks to diversify. After having successfully introduced a first range of electric scooters, the Australian group is preparing to launch a new brand dedicated to “premium” models.

Intended for the European and American markets, this new brand should make its debut at the end of November at the EICMA trade fair in Milan, and would simply take the name “VMoto”. An event during which the manufacturer should present its very first model.

A range "made in Europe"

Unlike the proposed Super Soco electric motorcycles and scooters, which were outsourced to China for design and production, the new VMoto range is expected to be entirely designed and manufactured in Europe.

For now, VMoto does not specify the models it intends to market under this new brand. The premium positioning, however, suggests an offer that is both sportier and better equipped than the current Super Soco electric motorcycles. Considered a benchmark in the premium electric motorcycle segment, the Californian Zero Motorcycles will probably be in the sights of the manufacturer.
