The "devil" here is precisely in the details - because each surface can be of a different material, has been treated in a different way, and has a different degree of wear. The final stage is finishing, in which the varnish coating is treated with a very fine paste that eliminates residual scratches or defects, removes haze, gives depth to colors and a finished look to the details before applying the protective layer. The proportions – such as necessity and duration – between the individual processes are determined depending on the initial condition of the varnish coating. In some cases the correction can be done in a day, in others it can take up to 1 week. Of course, all this has a limit - at a certain minimum thickness of the lacquer coating, a particular detail may need to be repainted, or in very rare cases, the entire car may need to be repainted.
