The combination of petrol or diesel engines with a manual or automatic transmission creates a whole range of comfortable family cars. The Multivan does not need extra parking space or extra liters of fuel when refueling.
General characteristics
The appearance of the 6th generation VW Multivan differs from its predecessors only in front and rear, but in general it began to look more stylish and brutal.
The protruding part was shortened at the body. The windshield was made larger and tilted more. Such innovations have improved visibility for the driver and front passenger. An improved design radiator grille with a corporate logo in the middle and three chrome stripes will emphasize the recognition of the car among other analogues. The LED headlights feature an original design with slightly angled glass. They have built-in LED running lights. In general, the appearance of the Multivan looks strict, solid, modern.
The Multivan salon is clearly divided into three zones:
- the front compartment is used for driving;
- the middle part - for the carriage of passengers;
- rear compartment - for storing luggage.
The driver's section is distinguished by a strict design, impeccable ergonomics, two comfortable comfortable chairs with folding armrests, and a high level of finish.
The front fascia offers a range of premium features. On and around it there are several glove compartments for various purposes. The five-inch screen also stands out here. The driver's seat has been designed so that as little effort as possible is required to operate the Multivan.
This is facilitated by the ergonomics of the steering wheel, the hydraulic booster of the front wheels, the lumbar support system built into the back of the seat, parking sensors, a navigation system, and an electronic voice amplifier for negotiations with passengers.
The passenger compartment of the Volkswagen Multivan combines a stylish finish and a practical layout. She is easily transformed. For this purpose, special rails are built into the floor for moving furniture elements. The second row consists of two swivel seats that allow passengers to sit forward or backward.
The rear sofa for three seats easily slides forward and increases the space in the luggage compartment. If you need to transport a bulky load, all seats fold down in a matter of seconds, and the amount of usable space increases to 4,52 m3. If necessary, by removing the seats in the passenger compartment, the volume of the luggage compartment can be increased to 5,8 m3.
The interior decoration is distinguished by German accuracy, thoroughness, and thoughtfulness. The plastic parts are carefully matched to each other, the cladding pleases with high-quality materials, expensive finishes, and a prestigious look. Passenger comfort is ensured not only by the comfortable seats, but also by fresh air in summer or warmth in winter. Individual control of the microclimate, swivel lamps for lighting create a homey feel right while driving.

VW Multivan T6 is distinguished by excellent dynamics: its agility (on average about 170 km / h with diesel engines and about 190 km / h with gasoline engines) is combined with good maneuverability (turning radius a little more than 6 m) and economy (diesel on average about 7 liters / 100 km, the gasoline engine is a little more voracious - about 10 l / 100 km).
