As I bought my seven, I did not think that I would soon have to say goodbye to the tinted front windows. Although silk-screening was applied there, I hoped that everything would be fine, but at the very first checkup I had to struggle a little with the traffic police, but still I managed to go through MOT without any bribes and removing the film.

Then he decided to remove the black film, but everything turned out to be not so simple, because the factory silk-screen printing cannot be removed by any devices, and also by a hairdryer. So I had to go like this. But recently I went to visit another city and the traffic police stopped at the checkpoint, and here I also got carried away. Looks like he was caught, he just warned that someone else could rent a license plate and send the car to the impound. He released him without any protocols and did not even hint at a bribe.

After that, I decided to still find glass and put the usual ones without any tinting. On an old disassembly, I found two front windows and after a couple of hours of hard work I managed to put everything in place, now you can drive calmly and not be afraid that there will be problems with law enforcement agencies on the road.

The replacement procedure is not very pleasant, it was necessary to remove the door trims and remove the old glass from the clamps, and in the cold, doing this business does not give much pleasure.
