The C-Class has entered a new generation that hopes to reach the same heights as its predecessor.

Mercedes-Benz Australia has launched a fifth-generation C-Class midsize sedan that is more upmarket with a higher price but more features.

Two options are available since launch: the entry-level C200 starts at $78,900 plus travel expenses, while the mid-range C300 starts at $90,400. This makes them $12,000 and $15,100 more expensive than their best-selling predecessors, respectively.
