Whether you work in an office or an auto repair shop, your hands react the same way to dry air, contact with detergents or water. Therefore, sometimes they deserve care that can cope with dryness, redness, or even small cracks in the epidermis. Not to mention the little things like picking up the cuticles around the nails, the hands should be cared for in the same way as the rest of the body. Here, no one encourages you to wash dishes with gloves, instead, we encourage you to take care of it regularly. And not necessarily in a nail salon, because it is known that not everyone has the time and desire to do this. We have something in return. Ten minutes for hands, once a week is not much, but the effect will be impressive. Either way, check it out for yourself.

1. Quickly clean

The first step in hand care is always cleansing. This is a cosmetic product that will soften the epidermis, smooth out rough areas and gently dissolve the cuticles around the nails. It would be better if it was lubricated and had a pleasant smell. The choices are best narrowed down to salt and sugar formulas that dissolve when exposed to water, releasing their full power. And such a good formula (plus at a price below 50 PLN) is Paloma Hand Spa sugar peeling. It's best to just wash your hands with it like regular soap, but twice as long and more thoroughly, paying special attention to dry areas around the nails, wrists, and back of the hands. At the end, it is enough to wash off the peeling and dry your hands.

2. Shortening with sawing

If you just want to shorten your nails a bit and prevent them from splitting, use a nail file. The best is a practical multifunctional: paper, double-sided, medium thickness and equipped with a polishing machine. Then you can do multiple steps with one file. File your nails gently, preferably in only one direction, to prevent splitting. If you are looking for the right tool, we recommend a three-stage file polisher. After filing, polish the nail plates. No need to overdo it, unless you like glossy manicure.

3. Drop of essential oil

With the problem of dry cuticles around the nails, a special oil will cope, which just needs to be rubbed. Or even easier: brush your cuticles with a stick that pushes them back. The Herome softening pen is a good choice. The formula includes avocado and almond oils, and this duo guarantees excellent hydration and long-term nutrition of the driest areas around the nails. The stick releases the formula but is sharp enough to remove excess cuticle from the nail plate.

4. Cream gloves for persistent

This step is for very dry hands or those who have an extra five minutes to treat. We are talking about the Purederm mask, in a light and pleasant form of gloves, impregnated with ingredients. Which? Regenerating and moisturizing, such as peach extract, shea butter and honey. Gloves are disposable, they need to be put on and then worn for a while - the longer the better. Then just wipe off the excess cream from your hands and you're done.

5. Good cream

Instead of a mask step, you can use a cream. And here the choice of male formulas is wide. It all depends on your preference, but if you're looking for a formula that's simple, light, and enjoyable, Dr Konopka's Lavender Hand Cream is for you. Organic herbal composition and additional protective effect will work in any conditions. There is also a richer formula of Ziaja Cream, in which you will find regenerating minerals such as copper, zinc and silicon, as well as softening urea. In addition, squalene, macadamia oil and cottonseed oil have a firming effect on the skin of the hands.
