The second life of the legendary original Aston Martin Vanquish – Sports Cars

Sometimes they come back. Ian Callumwho recently dropped out of the design department Jaguar Land Rover, comes back to be talked about. And this is happening with a new solo project that surprises everyone. This is a tribute to one of his masterpieces, the Aston Martin Vanquish, which will be available in just 25 units. Among other things, this will be the beginning from which new projects in this direction will begin.

New interior, redesigned chassis and mechanical update

Aston Martin Vanquish project 25 dedicated to 25 clients from all over the world who want to give their Vanquish a second life. The program, completely handcrafted, will cost £ 550.000, but in return will offer an almost entirely new interior, a revised chassis with new suspension, new anti-roll bars and a new braking system with carbon ceramic discs.

But above all ... a new transmission.

V12 also suffers modernization which increases its power to 580 CV thanks to a new electronic control unit and a new exhaust system. One of the decisive moments of this project will be the proposal of a transmission with a 6-speed torque converter. This detail will certainly be finalized by the owners. Vanquish, as this very original element was one of the main problems of this model. Even if the same Aston Martin came to propose a changeover to a manual transmission for Vanquish, the advent of a more modern automatic transmission represents a step forward for the legendary winged transmission.
