The Chinese mobile and e-scooter company Xiaomi is entering the e-scooter market with two new models sold at unbeatable prices.

Dubbed the A1 and A1 Pro, the two new products from Xiaomi are not actually the first electric scooters released by the manufacturer. A year ago, Xiaomi had already unveiled the Himo T1, a small scooter with a similar philosophy.

Small and exclusively for urban use, the A1 and A1 Pro are marketed under the 70mai brand, the name of the Chinese group that powers its industrialization. Mounted on 16-inch wheels and based on an identical design, both models weigh only about 50 kg. The electric motor integrated into the rear wheel delivers 750 watts of power and the speed is limited to only 25 km / h. Not enough to offer excellent acceleration and flotation.

After all, the two models differ in their battery. While the A1 includes 768 Wh for a range of 60 kilometers, the A1 Pro picks up 960 Wh for a claimed 70 kilometers.

Both models feature full suspension and hydraulic disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear, as well as large screens with built-in navigation and voice control. The A1 Pro has a touchscreen.
