Crunch when turning the steering wheel

Surely many car owners have faced such a problem as a crunch in the area of the front wheels when turning the steering wheel. So, the main reason for this malfunction is the failure of the drives, or rather the CV joints. It happens that even after buying a new car and having driven only a few thousand kilometers on it, the CV joints fail.

But most often this happens not with factory parts, but with those that you install during operation, after a while. From my own experience I can say that on my car I changed the CV joints several times over a short period of mileage, such as 20 kilometers. Although I drive carefully, the quality of the parts is such that no precautions help.

But quite often, car owners themselves are to blame for this strange crunch. Sharp starting and braking are not recommended, you can’t start off sharply with the steering wheel turned out, as reckless drivers very often like to do, especially at reverse speed, demonstrating the well-known driving technique - a police U-turn. If you don’t do this, then your car will most likely go for a rather long period on one CV joint.
