Yamaha PW SE: new electric motor expected at Eurobike

Taking advantage of the Eurobike exhibition, Yamaha will present its new e-bike motor. Dubbed the PW SE, it will be the heart of the Japanese brand's lineup.

Suitable for both city and off-road models, the Yamaha PW SE offers 70 Nm maximum torque, 250 W of power and Bluetooth connectivity. It weighs 3.5 kg and will eventually become the new standard for the Japanese brand.

At Eurobike, the new PW SE engine is expected to be smoother and more powerful thanks to technology based on three separate sensors - pedaling, speed and crank - with four assistance modes that the user can choose from.
