JAPAN. Honda introduced the Benly Electric electric scooter model. And something else

When it comes to electric bicycles, the major motorcycle manufacturers are surprisingly lagging behind. Perhaps something will finally change: at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show in 2019, Honda unveiled the Benly electric scooter and the CR Electric off-road motorcycle. Something more classic was missing, but good and that's it.

In early 2018, Honda announced the launch of an electric version of the popular PCX (photo below). The season has passed, a year has passed, and the bike has not yet passed the presentation stage. We hope that the cars on display at Tokyo 2019 will be the first signs of the impending thaw.

Benly is a separate Honda design, while the CR Electric is run by Mugen, which is dedicated to advanced customization of Honda cars and motorcycles. The technical parameters of the two-wheeled vehicles have not been disclosed, but they can be expected to be similar to the combustion versions.
