Yatri P0: This electric motorcycle is as connected as Tesla
The first electric motorcycle from Nepalese manufacturer Yatri, Project Zero (P0) combines connectivity, elegance and performance.
Announced in 2017 in Kathmandu, the Yatri electric motorcycle was born. Called Project Zero, or P0 for close friends, the first model from the Nepalese manufacturer plays a card of elegance with its round LED headlight and Café Racer styling.
Up to 230 km of autonomy
While some electric motorcycles from Asia disappoint with their very limited performance, this is clearly not the case for the Nepalese manufacturer's model. Declaring acceleration worthy of 650cc, Yatri P0 gets a 48 kW (64 horsepower) electric motor – the equivalent of some Zero Motorcycles – and promises an impressive 650 Nm of torque. Capable of accelerating the motorcycle from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 5 seconds, it allows you to accelerate to 140 km / h top speed.
The battery is equipped with lithium-ion cells. 8 kWh energy intensity and I promise bye 230 km of autonomy... Combined with a 3.3 kW charger, it charges in two hours.
Tesla-worthy connectivity
In the era of time, the Yatri P0 received a huge seven-inch TFT color screen, integrated navigation and many connected features.
In addition to the keyless start system, the manufacturer offers a remote update system that, like Tesla, allows you to enjoy the latest software enhancements without having to go to your local dealer.
Originally targeted at the Asian market, the Yatri P0 will be available to order from April 23rd. At the moment, prices for it have not been disclosed.
