IS AN! Electric vehicle subsidies signed by ministers will soon be published in the Journal of Laws and WE ARE TRANSFER!
Energy Minister Krzysztof Czewski and Minister of Finance, Investment and Development Jerzy Kwieczyński signed a decree on the management of the Low Emissions Transport Fund. The regulation defines the conditions for subsidizing electric vehicles for individuals. In human terms: at any time there should be an opportunity to apply for a surcharge for an electric car.

Just five days ago, we wrote about the rather unexpected publication of the provision on subsidies for electric vehicles on the European Commission website. It turns out that our intuition was not mistaken - the decision should come into force at any time (source).

If the ministers signed the document, it is likely that it was not changed in the version of the European Commission. Now it has been sent for publication in the Bulletin of Laws and Laws. it will enter into force on the 15th day after publication..
The first call for proposals for subsidies is announced. after the entry into force of the decree... ATTENTION, to apply for a grant, you must purchase a car. after the day of the announcement of the recruitment (p. 10).

The surcharge applies only to:
- electric vehicles (BEV), the current list can be found here:

- hydrogen cars (FCEV),
- individuals.
Thus, the ruling does not apply to:
- firms
- private entrepreneurs,
- natural gas vehicles,
- hybryd plugin,
- electric buses,
- electric motorcycles.
All of the aforementioned cars are included in the regulation for companies, which is being developed in a separate project. According to the information on the website of the Ministry of Energy, regulation is at the “final stage of work”.
Coming back to the essence: surcharge 30 percent of the price, but not more than PLN 37. In the case of a hydrogen-powered vehicle (FCEV), the surcharge is also 500 percent of the price, but the threshold has been raised to 30 PLN.
The maximum purchase price for an electric vehicle is PLN 125., the maximum purchase price of a hydrogen car is PLN 300. After exceeding the threshold, for example, in the case of an electric car worth PLN 000, no surcharge is charged at all.

All previous information is confirmed:
- additional payments will be made without a competition (anyone can apply),
- applications will be processed as soon as they are received,
- subsidies will be provided until funds are exhausted,
- Calls for proposals will be repeated.
To get a surcharge, you will need to apply with:
- a copy of the purchase invoice issued to an individual,
- copy of the registration certificate,
- copy of insurance document OC + AC for a year,
- obligation to conclude such insurance for the next year.
An important element is also a statement by an individual that does not conduct any economic activity – thus, self-employed persons will not be eligible to receive such a declaration. The Decree will enter into force 14 days after its publication, Fr. it will be possible to apply for a surcharge in case of buying a car after the start of the first set.
