Fuel filters equipped with a pleated or spiral baffle remove dust, organic particles and water from motor fuels. They must work reliably with large temperature fluctuations /winter-summer/ and with strong fuel pulsation. For different engines, they have a certain power and active surface. An improperly matched filter to the fuel system wears out prematurely, which can lead to uneven engine operation or engine shutdown.

In cars, do not experiment with fuel filters, you must use original or recommended by the car manufacturer.
