Replacing the key fob battery on the Largus
On Lada Largus cars, special key fobs are used, which perform the function of the key at the same time. The key fob has a built-in microcircuit, which is responsible for the functioning of the standard alarm system, blocking and unlocking the car door locks.
The key device, in principle, is very similar in design to the Kalina and Granta models, but the shape itself is slightly different. The keychain is disassembled in the same way.
- It is necessary to unscrew the screw that secures the two parts of the case
- Separate these two parts using a thin screwdriver
After that, we will get access directly to the battery itself. From the factory, the key fob is equipped with a special 2016 Volt CR3 battery. Using a screwdriver, pry on the battery and take it out for replacement:
Carefully using tweezers, without touching the battery with our hands, we put the new one in place of the old one. The price of a couple of such batteries in stores is about 200 rubles for high-quality goods from renowned manufacturers.
