Replacing the headlight block with VAZ 2113, 2114 and 2115
Even in less significant head-on collisions, the car's headlights are the first to be damaged. Even a small blow is enough to break off several fasteners. Of course, some owners glue or solder the “ears” of the mount, but as practice shows, such repairs are not enough for a long time.
In order to replace the headlamp unit with a VAZ 2113, 2114 and 2115, you must have the following tool at hand:
- 10 mm head
- Phillips screwdriver
- rattle or collar
- extension
How to remove a headlight on a VAZ 2114, 2115 and 2113
The first step is to remove the battery if the right headlight is being replaced. Then we disconnect the plug with wires from the turn signal lamp, as shown below.
Then, on the same side, we unscrew two nuts using a 10 head and an extension. Details of these nuts are shown below in the photo.
Now we disconnect the power plug from the high and low beam lamps, having previously unscrewed the protective plastic cap (depending on the manufacturer of the headlamp: Bosch, Kirzhach or Avtosvet).
Now, on this side, unscrew two more nuts.
Disconnect the headlight reflector hydrocorrector. Then you need to unscrew another screw with a Phillips screwdriver. You can get to it by first removing the radiator grill.
Further, having removed the cilia, you can take out the headlamp and start replacing it, if necessary.
Installing a new headlight on a VAZ 2113, 2114 or 2115 is performed in the reverse order.
The price of a new headlight for a car varies, depending on the manufacturer, from 1200 to 2000 rubles per piece. The cost may vary:
- Autolight - 1200 rubles.
- Income - 1500 rubles.
- Bosch - from 1700 to 2200 rubles.
The most high-quality optics can be called the latest manufacturer Bosch, but its price is not the lowest either.
