Replacing side rear-view mirrors with a VAZ 2107

Changing mirrors on a car is not difficult, and even more so since you don’t have to do it often. The main reason for the replacement is careless driving, as a result of which one of the mirrors breaks off. In general, if you are unlucky and have to remove the mirror on the VAZ 2107, then the instructions below will help you do this quickly and without any problems. From the tool you will need only one screwdriver with a Phillips blade:

First, unscrew the locking washer from the passenger compartment, which is clearly shown below:

After that, we take a screwdriver and unscrew the bolt securing the plastic lining:

And then we shoot it, as shown in the picture:

Also, remove the rubber band that is under this pad:

Now it remains to unscrew the mirror mounting bolt, which is clearly visible in the photo:

At this moment, hold the mirror from the back side, as it may fall, and then you can remove it completely from the car:

A pair of new mirrors for a VAZ 2107 costs about 500 rubles, although the price depends more on the manufacturer and type of construction. The installation is carried out in the reverse order.
