Replacing the air flow sensor on a VAZ 2111-2112
The mass air flow sensor, or otherwise the mass air flow sensor on the VAZ 2111-2112, is one of those devices, in the event of a malfunction of which the car engine will not work properly, the dynamics disappear, the speed of revolutions appears, and the fuel consumption also increases significantly. Moreover, everyone may have their own symptoms of malfunction. The price of this part is quite high, and in order to keep it in working order as much as possible, change the air filter more often.
To replace the DMRV with a VAZ 2111-2112 with your own hands, only a Phillips screwdriver will be enough, as well as a 10 head with a ratchet:
To begin this procedure, you must first disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. Then, pressing the latch from below, disconnect the plug from the sensor by pulling it with medium force:
Now use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the clamp bolt on the inlet pipe, as shown below:
Then we remove the pipe and move it a little to the side, so that in the future it does not create problems for us:
Next, you need a 10 wrench, or a ratchet head, to unscrew the two bolts attaching the DMRV to the air filter housing:
Then you can easily pull the sensor out of its seat:
When installing, you should pay attention to the marking of the new sensor, it should be similar to the one applied to the factory one:
When replacing, we do everything in the reverse order of removal and do not forget to connect all power wires, both to the sensor itself and to the battery. The price of a part varies from 2000 to 3500 rubles, depending on the required model and year of manufacture of the car.
