Replacing the DMRV with a VAZ 2110-2115 on its own

During the time I owned a VAZ 2112 with a 16-valve engine, I encountered such a problem when the on-board computer began to constantly give an error and fuel consumption at idle increased sharply. When the error was cleared, the consumption returned to normal, but the problem arose after a few minutes and everything was new! Since all models, starting from 2110, 2114, and VAZ 2115, are completely identical in engines, the replacement of the mass air flow sensor for all of them will be the same. The same applies to vehicles with 16-valve powertrains.

So, to perform this repair, you will need a Phillips screwdriver and a 10 ratchet head.

First, unscrew the clamp on the air filter inlet pipe, as shown in the picture:

Then, pulling it off from its place, we take it to the side:

Then it will be necessary to disconnect the block with the wiring harness that lead directly to the mass air flow sensor:

Next, we take a ratchet with a head of 10 and unscrew the bolts attaching the DMRV to the air body:

And now you can remove it without any problems, since it is no longer attached to anything:

We buy a new one, which costs from 1500 to 2500 rubles and replace it with a new one. Everything is done in reverse order.
