Replacing the DMRV on its own with a VAZ 2107-2105 injector
In a previous article, I wrote about such a problem as the failure of the mass air flow sensor, which occurs most often due to untimely replacement of the air filter. So, if suddenly you have a problem with the mass air flow sensor and it must be replaced, then this simple repair can be easily done with your own hands, having only a ratchet with a 10-point head and a Phillips screwdriver:
So, first of all, we loosen the clamp bolt on the air filter inlet pipe:
Then carefully pull the pipe to the side:
Now we unscrew the two bolts fastening the DMRV VAZ 2107-2105, which are located on both sides:
Next, it remains to remove the block with the wiring harness from the sensor, after pressing the clamps on both sides:
Now you can remove the sensor without any problems by pulling it back to the side:
Before buying a new sensor, pay attention to the modification of the old one. It is important to buy just one so that there are no compatibility problems with the ECU. Then you can install a new mass air flow sensor on the car and connect everything in place.
