Replacing the DPDZ with a VAZ 2107 and 2105 injector
The reasons for a faulty throttle position sensor on injection vehicles VAZ 2105, 2104 and 2107 may be different, and the main ones will be given below:
- Unstable engine idling
- Difficulty starting the engine
- Dips when driving and a sharp press on the gas pedal
If such problems occur on your machine, then you need to check the performance of the TPS and, if necessary, replace it. To do this, one Phillips screwdriver will be enough.
Where is the TPS on the VAZ 2105 - 2107?
The throttle position sensor on injection cars of the “classic” type is located directly on the throttle assembly. Also, next to it there is another sensor - the idle speed regulator, but it is located below.
Removal and installation of TPS
The first step is to disconnect the minus terminal from the battery, and then disconnect the chip with the power wires from the sensor, as shown below in the photo below:
Now, using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the sensor to the throttle assembly.
After both screws are unscrewed, carefully move it to the side.
In the landing there is a special foam pad, which must be kept intact. The new sensor is installed in reverse order so that the holes in it line up with the holes in the throttle.
The price of a new DPDZ for injection VAZ 2104, 2105 and 2107 is about 200-500 rubles. The cost depends on the manufacturer and the place of purchase.
