Together with its partner stores, Zeway announces that it has already installed 30 battery replacement stations throughout the capital. The complete network of 40 stations will be completed at the end of February.

Adhering to the principle successfully applied by Gogoro in Taiwan, Zeway is one of the first French players to specialize in battery replacement stations for electric scooters. Launched in spring 2020, the company is at its peak in Paris, with around 30 stations already installed. By the end of February, 40 stations will be available in the capital.

Zeway's market-unique offering offers users a complete ecosystem combining e-scooter rental with battery exchange network provision. Like Amazon Lokers, these stations are hosted by certain partner brands. Therefore, Zeway has teamed up with Monoprix, BNP Paribas, Esso and a chain of self-service laundries. For the user, this network of stations eliminates the need for recharging. Once the battery runs out, all you have to do is go to one of the stations to get full. According to Zevai, the manipulation takes less than a minute.

Zeway's business model is based on an all-inclusive rental offer. This includes a scooter rental with unlimited access to a network of battery change stations. Insurance and maintenance are also included in the formula.

At the moment, Zeway's offer is limited to one electric scooter. Called SwapperOne, it is approved in the 50cc category. The top speed is limited to 45 km / h and is powered by a 3 kW Bosch motor integrated in the rear wheel. Battery capacity is not listed, but Zeway promises 40km on a single charge.

In terms of pricing, Zeway offers an LLD offer from € 130 per month including taxes for individuals and from € 89 without taxes per month for businesses. In both cases, the plan must be withdrawn for a period of 36 months.
