Replacing the hood for VAZ 2113, 2114 and 2115

On Lada Samara cars, such as VAZ 2113, 2114 and 2115, the hood has to be changed in the following cases:
- after an accident if damaged
- in case of corrosion and the impossibility of repair
- in case of damage to paintwork
You can replace the hood yourself, as this repair does not cause any particular difficulties. For this we need the following tool:
- 8 mm head
- Ratchet handle or crank
- Nippers or knife
How to remove the hood on a VAZ 2114, 2115 and 2113 and replace it
The first step is to open the hood of the car, and then substitute an emphasis under it. Next, we disconnect the hoses from the washer nozzles from the inside. One side:
And on the other hand, pulling it with your hand with medium effort:
After that, using a head 8, unscrew two bolts attaching the hood to the awnings on each side.
In one place, a washer hose is attached to the hood with a clamp. It must be cut with pliers or a knife.
Then you can gently lift the hood of the car and remove it from the awnings, as nothing else holds it. Of course, it is most convenient to do this together, but in principle, you can do it alone.
How much is a new hood for VAZ 2114, 2115 and where is it better to buy?
New hoods for Lada Samara cars can be bought at different prices:
- factory hood produced by Avtovaz in black soil from 6000 rubles
- production KAMAZ or START from 4000 rubles - lower quality
- parts already painted in the color you need from 8500 rubles
You can buy body parts both in an auto parts store and at an auto dismantling site. Moreover, in the latter case, you can generally find the desired hood color at a price two times lower than the market price.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, and again, it is advisable to do all this together in order to avoid accidental damage to the paintwork.
