Replacing the ignition coil with Lada Largus

In case of certain malfunctions of the module, or the ignition coil on the Lada Largus car, in most cases this part must be replaced with a new one, since it cannot be repaired. The reasons why it is necessary to do this may be the following:

• Difficulty starting a warm engine
• poor start in wet weather
• breakdowns in the ignition of one or more cylinders

So, to replace the ignition module (coil) on the Largus with our own hands, we need a minimum of tools, namely:

1. 10 mm head
2. ratchet
3. extension

First of all, turn off the power to the car's battery and disconnect the coil power plug, as shown in the photo below:

Then we pull off the spark plug wires from the module terminals.

After that, using the head and the ratchet handle, we unscrew all the coil mounting bolts, there are 4 of them:

And we remove the module, since nothing else holds it.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order. The price of a new ignition coil for Lada Largus is from 700 to 2500 rubles, depending on the manufacturer. Of course, the original may last longer, but at the same time, Taiwan is sold several times cheaper. The ideal option is to find a working module for disassembly from Renault Logan, which will cost from 500 rubles.
