Replacing the adsorber purge valve on Vesta

One of the first problems that many owners of the Lada Vesta car came to the official dealer with was a strange knock from under the hood of the car. More precisely, to call it a knock is too strong .... probably more chatter, clicks. Those drivers who had experience in operating Priora, Kalina and other injection VAZs remember perfectly well that the adsorber purge valve is capable of making such sounds.

And Vesta is no exception here, since in fact, the design of the engine and all ECM sensors is very similar to the 21127 engine. This valve looks like this:

Of course, if a similar problem occurs with your car, you can replace this “sensor” with your own hands, but if the car is under warranty, why do you need unnecessary problems. Moreover, there is already repeated experience in replacing this valve and the official dealer has many customers with this problem. Everything is changed without any remarks.

But after the replacement, you should not expect perfect silence from this part, since in any case it will chirp, albeit not as loudly as the old one. Usually, this sound manifests itself strongly on a cold engine at high speeds, but if you judge, why should a cold engine be turned at all at high speeds ?! In general, all owners of Vesta - keep in mind if someone “chirps” or “clicks” under your hood, then most likely the reason is in the canister purge valve.
