Replacing the front stabilizer bar Ford Focus

In this article, we will consider the process of replacing the front stabilizer bar with Ford Focus 1, 2 and 3. As a rule, worn out front stabilizer struts can create a characteristic knock in the suspension when driving through irregularities on the road, and also the stability of the body when cornering, in other words, increases rolls, so replacing the stabilizer struts is quite important, and most importantly, not a difficult process.

Replacement process

On a Ford Focus 1 car, the front stabilizer bar is very easy to change. We start by removing the front wheel. The stabilizer post is located along the main post (see photo). It is unscrewed as follows: insert the hexagon into the central hole of the mount and hold it, and unscrew the nut with a 17 key. The same is done with the bottom mount.

Installation is carried out in absolutely reverse order, but it is worth noting that when installing a new rack, it may not fit exactly into the mountings. In this case, it is necessary to bend the stabilizer itself down. This can be done with a small mounting, slipping it between the stabilizer and the steering tip (do not use too much force so as not to damage it).
