Replacing the front brake discs with a VAZ 2105-2107

The procedure for replacing front brake discs on cars such as the VAZ 2105, 2107 is a fairly simple task and requires a minimum of tools. In order to do everything as quickly as possible, you only need a wheel wrench and a couple more keys: one for unscrewing the caliper, and the second for unscrewing the guide pins, which are also brake disc mounts.

So, first of all, we raise the car, or rather the side where it is required to replace it.
After that, we unscrew the nuts securing the brake caliper and remove it, taking it to the side.
Now you can proceed directly to replacing the brake discs, since all the preparatory procedures are completed.

We turn off 2 studs, as in the photo:

Then, from the back of the disc, you can try to hit it with a hammer. It is advisable to do this through some kind of substrate, such as a wooden block, since otherwise the part can be damaged. Although, if the disks are still changed, then you can get by with just a hammer:

While you are doing all this, the disc can give in with difficulty, therefore, in order to do everything correctly, you need to scroll it a little while tapping, so that it moves evenly to the edge. After everything is done, you can remove the disc:

Now you can take a new disk and replace it. Please note that these parts must be changed strictly in pairs, since otherwise the braking performance will be poor!
