Replacing the wiper arms on the VAZ 2114 and 2115
The wiper arms on VAZ 2114 and 2115 are changed in exceptional cases. And for the most part, this happens for the following reasons:
- wear of the springs, as a result of which the lever does not press the wiper blade tightly against the glass - the wipers begin to creak, crushing and other negative points appear
- damage to the levers as a result of an accident or unsuccessful dismantling
In order to replace the wiper arms with VAZ 2114 and 2115, we need a minimum of devices, namely:
- 10 mm head
- Ratchet or crank
- Penetrating grease
The procedure for removing and installing wiper arms on VAZ 2114 and 2115
First of all, we pry and raise the protective caps, under which are the nuts securing the levers. It is clearly shown in the photo below.
After that, it is imperative to apply a penetrating lubricant to the wiper's landing site so that it seeps into the slots. After that, unscrew the fastening nut.
Now we lift the lever up, overcoming the resistance of the spring and swinging the lever from side to side, trying to pull it off the slots.
The second one is removed in the same way, and there should be no difficulties in performing this repair. Installation takes place in reverse order. If you need to buy new parts, but their cost is about 500 rubles per pair. But goods of the same quality can be bought at auto dismantlers for no more than half the cost of new spare parts.
