Sequence of operations

1. Open the hood and find the location of the filter on the right side of the decorative trim between the hood and windshield.

2. The grille is fastened with self-tapping screws, some of which are covered with dowels. The amount to be closed depends on the year of manufacture of the car. Remove the plugs by lifting a sharp object (a flathead screwdriver will also work).

4. After releasing the grate, carefully move it, releasing first the right edge, then the left.

5. Three screws are unscrewed, two of them hold the protective cover over the filter, and the hose from the washing machine is connected to the third.

6. Slide the cover to the right until the left edge comes out from under the bracket, then pull it to the left.
