Replacing the stabilizer struts Kia Spectra
Replacing the stabilizer struts of the Kia Spectra is not a complicated process, which you can easily do yourself. This manual contains video and photo instructions that will help you understand the process of replacing the front stabilizer struts on the Kia Spectra.
Tool
Consider the required tool for the job:
- jack;
- head / key 14;
- key on 15.

The process of replacing the anti-roll bar is standard and similar to other common vehicles. We hang the desired wheel, remove it. The location of the stabilizer bar can be seen in the photo below.
The rack is fastened with two nuts: top and bottom. To unscrew the nut, use a wrench or a 14-point head, but at the same time it is necessary to hold the rack fastening pin itself with a 15-point wrench, as shown in the figure below.
If the new rack does not fit into the required holes, then you can get out of the position in two ways:
- with a second jack, raise the lower lever until the fingers of the new rack fit into the holes;
- if there is no second jack, then raise the car higher with the main one, put a block under the lower arm and gradually lower the car (the main stand will compress), again, until the fingers of the stabilizer bar coincide with the holes.
