Replacing the stabilizer struts Renault Logan

Consider the process of replacing the stabilizer struts with Renault Logan. The stabilizer bar itself on Logan bears little resemblance to the standard familiar “bone”, but it changes even easier. To work, you will need the following tool.

Tool

  • sprocket TORX T45;
  • head or key for 10;
  • jack.

Replacement Algorithm

We unscrew, hang out and remove the desired wheel. The location of the stabilizer post is shown in the photo below.

Holding the bolt head with an asterisk, unscrew the lower nut by 10.

For easy loosening, clean the threads with a wire brush and spray VD-40... Pull out the old stabilizer legs, you may have to bend the stabilizer link down with a little mounting to do this.

We install a new strut (most likely you will also have to bend the stabilizer link), put the rubber bands in place, insert the bolt and tighten the nut.
