To tighten the new stabilizer leg, you will most likely need a specific wrench (it may be different, depending on the manufacturer). For example, for racks from manufacturer TRW, you need a 17 key.

The procedure for replacing the front stabilizer struts Skoda Octavia A5

First of all, we unscrew the desired front wheel, hang it up with a jack and remove it. The location of the stabilizer bar itself.

We unscrew the upper and lower mounts using a key of 18, while holding the stand pin itself from turning with an asterisk.

Advice! The stabilizer bar mounting nuts are quite difficult to unscrew, so we advise you to process them in advance VD-40.

After unscrewing the nuts, you can pull out the old stabilizer, however, the front stabilizer bar can be difficult to remove / put in place, since it is stretched by the stabilizer itself. In order to easily remove the old rack and put a new one in the desired holes, you can lower the stabilizer rod with a small mounting or a crowbar to the desired moment.

We tighten the new stand in the same way, taking into account the fact that you will need to hold the stand finger not with an asterisk, but with a key (in the case of a TRW stand, the key will be at 17).
