Replacing the stabilizer struts Volkswagen Polo sedan
Replacing the stabilizer bar with a Volkswagen Polo sedan is done similarly to most cars of this class, there is nothing complicated in the replacement process, this repair can be done by hand, armed with the necessary tools.
Tool
- balonnik for unscrewing the wheel;
- jack;
- head / key 16;
- TORX (included with the car) is required to keep the stand finger from scrolling;
- preferably one thing: a second jack, a block, an assembly.
Pay attention! When buying a new stabilizer stand, nuts of a different size can be installed on it (depending on the manufacturer of the new stub stand), so look at the situation and prepare the necessary keys. Also, if the rack has already changed, then the nuts may well be of a different size.

Replacement Algorithm
The algorithm for replacing the stabilizer bar on the VW Polo Sedan is very simple, the first step is to hang the desired front wheel and remove it. The stabilizer bar is shown in the photo below.
Next, you need to unscrew the top and bottom nuts. In the event that the stand pin itself began to turn together with the nut, then it must be held with a TORX nozzle of the appropriate size.
It is advisable to lubricate the WD-40 nuts in advance so that they oxidize.
If the stand is hard to come out of the holes, then:
- Place the second jack under the lower arm and raise it, thereby removing the tension in the stabilizer;
- either place a block under the lower arm and lower the main jack a little lower;
- Alternatively, bend the stabilizer by mounting and pull out the old stabilizer leg.
The process of installing a new rack is carried out in the same way in reverse order.
